I originally wanted marble countertops but as soon as I saw Lagoon Silestone, I knew it would achieve the same look at a more affordable price point. From a distance, it looks plain but I love the detailing that appears as you get closer.
This is the alternative suggested to us when there was no natural white granite available upon our inquiry. Hybriq+ is Cosentino’s manufacturing process for Silestone. It uses a minimum of 20% recycled materials, including glass, in place of some quartz content. Production runs entirely on renewable electricity, and 99% of water used in manufacturing gets reclaimed and reused. It also results in a surface with lower crystalline silica content than conventional quartz.
