I had the Snow White Quartz countertop installed a month ago. I purchased this to replace the old tiles on our kitchen countertops. I really like the versatility of the color of this countertop. It works well with my dark colored wood cabinets. To be honest, I was nervous about choosing this color since it’s very light and I was worried that the slightest of spills will leave stains. But thankfully, no stains have appeared so far. Happy customer here.

Frequently Asked Questions

expand all answers
  • No. MSI Snow White is an engineered quartz surface with a water absorption rate of just 0.02%, which means liquids cannot penetrate the slab. Unlike natural stone countertops that require periodic sealing to block their natural pores, Snow White quartz is permanently nonporous from the point of manufacture. There is no sealing, polishing, or surface treatment required at any stage of ownership.

  • The defining feature of Snow White is its low variation pattern. While many white quartz designs include subtle veining or surface movement, Snow White provides a flat, uniform white across the entire slab. This consistency is especially useful in large commercial installations or open-concept kitchens with long countertop runs where slab-to-slab matching is a priority. If you prefer texture or veining in a white quartz, other MSI or Cambria designs may be a better fit.

  • Snow White’s neutral base is one of its strongest design advantages:

Cabinet Color Design Style Overall Effect
Bright White Modern / Minimalist Seamless all-white kitchen
Soft Gray Transitional Clean, sophisticated contrast
Navy Blue Contemporary Bold color pop against white
Natural Oak or Walnut Scandinavian / Organic Warm wood against cool white
Matte Black Industrial / Modern High-contrast, dramatic look

📏 How to Measure Your Countertop

Choose your countertop shape and measure in inches:

Essential Measurement Tips:

  • Measure in inches: Use a tape measure and record all dimensions in inches for accuracy.
  • Account for overhangs: Standard overhang is 1-1.5 inches beyond cabinet edges.
  • Consider appliances: Measure around cooktops, sinks, and other fixtures that will be cut out.
  • Check for walls: If installing against walls, measure the actual wall length as walls may not be perfectly straight.
  • New construction: If you don't have existing countertops, measure the cabinet boxes and add overhang allowances.
